Barbara BarclayBarbara Barclay, Executive Director of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), International, is a distinguished expert in eye-tracking technology and a leader in health tech innovation. With over 30 years of leadership experience, Barbara has been instrumental in advancing solutions for patient care, particularly in the optometry and healthcare industries. She brings more than 15 years of expertise in launching cutting-edge eye-tracking and wearable health technologies to the market, making her a sought-after speaker and subject matter expert at numerous healthcare technology conferences.

In addition to her role at NORA, Barbara serves as Founder and CEO of Fresh Eye Analytics, Inc., a consulting firm that supports companies entering new healthcare and wearable markets in the U.S.

Her work across her career aligns with NORA’s mission to promote advancements in visual rehabilitation across diverse settings.

Previously, as CEO of Somalytics, Barbara successfully led the development and commercialization of a revolutionary miniature capacitive sensor for wearables and motion detection, securing $2.9M in capital and achieving critical growth milestones. Earlier, as President of RightEye, a leader in eye-tracking healthcare technology, Barbara helped create a new category of healthcare tech, collaborating with medical professionals, the military, and sports teams to develop innovative solutions that support wellness and optimize individual performance. As General Manager for Tobii in North America, Barbara was pivotal in introducing eye-tracking technology to the world through American media and the tech industry, significantly expanding the company's customer base and brand visibility. She also led the development of wearable and cloud-based product offerings that transformed Tobii’s reach across several industries, including academia, automotive, gaming, and market research.

Barbara’s earlier career roles included Vice President of Marketing for LexisNexis, Head of Global Services for Comscore, and General Manager for ACNielsen. Barclay holds an MBA in Marketing from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in German and Economics from Vanderbilt University.
